This study aims to examine the role of green management in sustainable organizational development and propose a framework for reducing environmental impacts. This research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through semi-structured interviews with 26 senior managers and experts from organizations based in Tehran. Purposeful sampling was used, and theoretical saturation determined the endpoint of data collection. The data were analyzed using NVivo software and qualitative content analysis to identify key categories and concepts. The findings revealed that green management significantly impacts sustainable organizational development, requiring strategic implementation, overcoming execution challenges, and utilizing advanced technologies. Four main categories were identified: green management strategies, implementation challenges, impacts on organizational sustainability, and the role of technology. Additionally, results indicated that implementing environmental policies, optimizing resource consumption, and fostering a green organizational culture are key factors in enhancing sustainability performance. However, high costs, employee resistance, and weak regulatory support were identified as major barriers to adopting green policies. Green management not only reduces organizations' environmental impact but also enhances financial performance, brand reputation, and competitive advantage. Successful implementation requires educational initiatives, economic incentives, and sustainable technologies, alongside necessary legal support.
