A Qualitative Study on the Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility Policies on Enhancing Employee Commitment and Organizational Performance

This study aims to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies on enhancing employee commitment and improving organizational performance. This study was conducted using a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 25 employees and managers from organizations based in Tehran. Participants were selected purposefully, and interviews continued until theoretical saturation was reached. Data analysis was performed using qualitative content analysis and NVivo software. The results revealed that CSR policies positively influence employee commitment by strengthening organizational identity, increasing job satisfaction, and improving job engagement. Additionally, CSR policies contributed to enhancing employee productivity, improving corporate reputation and image, and fostering organizational innovation and creativity. Furthermore, the implementation of CSR policies led to the development of inter-organizational collaborations and the promotion of social and environmental sustainability. This study demonstrated that CSR plays a significant role in improving employee commitment and organizational performance. Therefore, organizations should integrate CSR into their strategic framework and expand related initiatives to enhance employee commitment and organizational efficiency.
