This study aimed to identify, level, and analyze the interrelationships among the dimensions of green strategic leadership capability in Tejarat Bank branches in Kerman. This applied study employed a descriptive-survey design with a qualitative approach. The study population consisted of senior managers of Tejarat Bank branches in Kerman, from whom 10 managers meeting predefined professional and managerial expertise criteria were selected as experts. The initial dimensions were extracted from the literature and finalized using the Delphi technique. Pairwise relationships among the identified dimensions were subsequently assessed through a pairwise-comparison questionnaire using V, A, X, and O symbols. Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) was employed to establish the hierarchical structure of the relationships, while MICMAC analysis was used to determine the driving power and dependence of the dimensions. Seventeen dimensions of green strategic leadership capability were identified. ISM classified them into five hierarchical levels. Level 1 comprised green adaptation, green soft skills, green innovation, green absorption, and green forecasting. Level 2 included effective stakeholder management, green strategic decision-making, employee training and empowerment, and environmental performance control and evaluation. Level 3 consisted of green transformational leadership and ethical and responsible leadership. Level 4 comprised strategic commitment to sustainable development, sustainable culture development, green policymaking, and integration of environmental objectives into organizational strategy. Level 5 consisted of environmental vision and environmental awareness. MICMAC analysis further indicated that the strategic and attitudinal dimensions were predominantly independent variables with relatively high driving power, whereas green adaptation, green soft skills, green innovation, green absorption, and green forecasting constituted dependent dimensions. The Delphi process ultimately confirmed 17 dimensions for inclusion in the model. Green strategic leadership capability in banking develops through a hierarchical mechanism in which environmental awareness and vision provide the fundamental orientation for strategic commitment, policymaking, sustainable culture, managerial leadership, and ultimately the operational green capabilities required for organizational sustainability.
